Based on the pursuit of the Catholic philosophy of Fu Jen Catholic University, which emphasizes "witnessing love and service within the team," as well as the long-standing history of Catholicism in Taichung, this project takes the Taichung Marino House as the core to connect the rich resources of the surrounding Taichung urban space. Through site investigation and exploration, we aim to unearth local cultural memories and knowledge, hoping to showcase the forgotten local heritage in different ways in the planning outcomes.

In the declining and sluggish condition of the Marino House and its surrounding venues, planning, and design aim to showcase a unique cultural landscape and living environment. The primary objective is to highlight the development of the Taichung urban area and the historical context and cultural significance of the Marino House. By inheriting the past cultural heritage and connecting it to future planning and design, the goal is to rejuvenate the cultural landscape of the living park, imbued with the spirit of universal love.
